Unveiling Star Atlas’ Space Flight Module: Next-Gen Gaming Revolution
Star Atlas Team Previews Advanced Ship Flight Module
Star Atlas, the gaming metaverse fusing cutting-edge blockchain, real-time graphics, multiplayer video game, and decentralized financial technologies, recently offered a sneak peek into an innovative project they have been working on – a ship flight module.
The featured module was presented by Brad from the Star Atlas team who is also a member of the MUD faction. Despite being an internal demo with no guarantee of its release to the public, the team gave fans an intriguing taste of what they could expect in terms of the gaming sphere’s progress.
The primary objective of this project was to test their flight model, developing a mini-game that undertakes this objective in a fun and engaging manner. The game commences with a five-second timer that extends whenever the user passes through a gate or hits a target. The aim is to reach the finish before the timer runs out.
The spacecraft flown by Brad is not a racing ship but a freighter. Despite this, he emphasized his preference for this ship and the first-person view it provided, even though it’s still a work in progress without an interior.
The ship flight module highlights the integration of joystick support, a feature deemed vital as no self-respecting pilot flies with a mouse and keyboard, explained Brad. Underscoring his passion for space simulation games, he described his involvement in the project as a dream come true.
While the sneak peek was just a snippet of the entire project, the Star Atlas team assured its community that more alpha is on the way. The team expressed their gratitude for the constant support of the community, underscoring that it’s their backing that makes such advancements possible.

How a star Atlas demo made in 2022 with unreal engine 5 look way worse visualy than the Demo Arena comander from star Citizen back in 2015 on the old version of cry engine lol. Are you sure you are using Unreal engine lol.
Seems to be on rails…
💯
Is that a fart simulator?..
It's been a min but I'm pretty certain you make something that looks nicer than this the first week in dev school. But I guess when they don't actually hire game devs, they expect this to be impressive? Also, the BEST pilots in the world use keyboard and mouse, There is almost 0 difference in skill cap/gap between them, it's literally personal preference. Hate to see platforms like this use such an amazing engine so terribly.
In one of the next demos can we hear more about your approach to flight physics and what kind of feeling you are aiming for? I feel space games are having the best kind of revival especially the more simulation like ones. With the right physics and gameplay this has potential. Looking forward to see more
so sicc. can't wait . and I suck at Gaming
