Unveiling Star Atlas’ Space Flight Module: Next-Gen Gaming Revolution
Star Atlas Team Previews Advanced Ship Flight Module
Star Atlas, the gaming metaverse fusing cutting-edge blockchain, real-time graphics, multiplayer video game, and decentralized financial technologies, recently offered a sneak peek into an innovative project they have been working on – a ship flight module.
The featured module was presented by Brad from the Star Atlas team who is also a member of the MUD faction. Despite being an internal demo with no guarantee of its release to the public, the team gave fans an intriguing taste of what they could expect in terms of the gaming sphere’s progress.
The primary objective of this project was to test their flight model, developing a mini-game that undertakes this objective in a fun and engaging manner. The game commences with a five-second timer that extends whenever the user passes through a gate or hits a target. The aim is to reach the finish before the timer runs out.
The spacecraft flown by Brad is not a racing ship but a freighter. Despite this, he emphasized his preference for this ship and the first-person view it provided, even though it’s still a work in progress without an interior.
The ship flight module highlights the integration of joystick support, a feature deemed vital as no self-respecting pilot flies with a mouse and keyboard, explained Brad. Underscoring his passion for space simulation games, he described his involvement in the project as a dream come true.
While the sneak peek was just a snippet of the entire project, the Star Atlas team assured its community that more alpha is on the way. The team expressed their gratitude for the constant support of the community, underscoring that it’s their backing that makes such advancements possible.

"not self respecting pilot flies with mouse and keyboard" wtf dude??, if that's your idea for pvp in a space game, the project is gonna fail, basically you're saying that in order to be a good pilot you need to buy joysticks?, literally in other 6dof space games the mouse and keyboard players can compete or be even better than the joystick ones
When will the Star Atlas game be released?
