The Puri coin and Puri community was developed initially as a meme coin within the Star Atlas ecosystem. It was quickly realized the Puri and Puri to the People community had the ability to promote and enhance developers within the Star Atlas ecosystem. Puri has distributed allocations to over 40 Star Atlas developers and content creators, enabling further development of Star Atlas related projects.
Puri has been officially recognized by Star Atlas as a community effort and in February 2024, two unique skins were released for sale for the Ogrika Ruch.
The Puri community is also developing a play to earn mini-game.
